I'm sure we've all had our share of pink clothes (and I'm not talking about the ones that went in pink, either  ).

Is there any way to -- 'de-pink' them? Or am I stuck with it?

Thanks

I guess you could use Chlorine. If it's only your whites that got pink and not the beige ones and so on, you could use Chlorine.
Put them in a bucket with that stuff and let them there for a while. Watch your hands when you pcik them up though because Chlorine corodes the skin.
Also, check the labels of the clothing you are putting in Chlorine and make sure there's no warning against using it (some fabrics are ruined by it). Cotton works though.

Wow, Juni, I never knew that!

Thanks for the tip, I will definitely be putting it to use in the future (hopefully not for my own mistake, haha!)

I also heard that you can put some chlorine/bleach in your washer before putting in the pink clothes and then just put in on for a regular wash cycle.

I suspect juni's methods will work. :) Be careful in future though; because even cotton will break down after too many bleachings. Most synthetic fabrics don't take bleach well, either.

I have seen a product that's made by one of the stain removers that is supposed to remove colors from clothing. I mean, if they accidentally got colored in the wash. Juni's idea should work for whites, but if it's colored clothing, try looking for that product. I think it is probably in the same area as the stain removers, like Shout, etc.

I am allergic to chlorine bleach, so I can't just toss things into an open container of bleach. I would be itching from head to toe with the first whiff.

I've heard the Shout Color Collector is really good. I don't think it'll help with things that have already been dried, but for things that you've never washed before and don't want to take chance that they'll bleed on other clothes you're washing.
